The Collaborit Asset Tracker introduces an end-to-end, easy to use asset scanning and tracking solution to your SAP landscape. Struggling to keep inventory of your asset or knowing where these assets are currently located will become a thing of the past.

The Collaborit Asset Tracker provides you with an easy way to manage inventory, view assets and locations, and re-assign assets as needed. Making use of the native RFID, barcode and QR scanning functionalities of a scanning device, encapsulated with SAP’s OpenUI5 technologies allow a user to identify, track and maintain an asset’s location in real-time, perform inventory scans or move assets as needed.

The Asset Tracker allows the onboarding of a device against a user profile. Users log on via a device specific logon screen and there is no need to repeatedly capture SAP Credentials.

Quick Scan functionality enables you to scan/read a barcode/RFID and instantaneously jump to the relevant asset or location.

When it comes to asset locations, you can choose a choose a location and do a full-inventory scan for that location, view assets and change their respective location, re-assign assets to specific locations, view and manage un-assigned assets via location or asset view, and even sync to back-end as and when needed.

The application remains completely offline until you select to sync, when updates will be committed in the backend. Asset and location identifications can be via manual input, RFID scanner or barcode. It even allows for unreadable/broken tag reporting, and the onboarding of new (or existing) assets in the field and linking with a specific RFID tag.

Back-office processing is easy as all updates from the Collaborit Asset Tracker mobile application are stored in a staging table. The easy-to-use desktop friendly web-application has been provided to assist you to view the pending requests and approve or reject as needed.

The approval app is accessible via standard SAP credentials with UI5 screens that can render on any HTML5 compatible browser. You will be able to view staging requests as well as the details of the requests (asset movements). Other features include the option to identify conflicts (different users tagged an asset in a different location) and approve or reject the request.

On approval, the asset movement is applied in SAP asset master changing the location. On rejection, the respective entries are cleared from the staging table.
